Our Fes Women Wallet is a classic piece made to last forever. The interior is lined with vegetable-tanned leather while the exterior is made of premium full-grain leather, stitched together with neutral thread.

We use vegetable-tanned leather intentionally in our designs for its beauty and minimal environmental impact. Vegetable-tanned leather uses natural tannins from tree barks and leaves, instead of chemicals, in their tanning process. This method has been used by humans from as early as 4th millennium BC before chemicals exist. However, only 12% of all leathers produced today are vegetable-tanned leather.

While the process takes 2 months to complete, the resulting natural leather is worth the wait. Overtime, with sun exposure, natural grease, and wear and tear, this leather will develop its own characteristics and patina. This unique quality paired with its durability are the reasons why our customers love vegetable-tanned pieces and keep them for many years as they change and mature overtime.
